Initially, the film was planned as only a Kannada film but with pan-Indian films making all the noise, the makers decided to dub it in multiple languages and pushed their budget to a large extent.
Budget
Don’t know if it’s true, but Vikrant Rona was initially planned to be made on a budget of around 20 crores. Surprisingly, in order to make it a pan-Indian film and a visual spectacle, the budget was then increased up to 90-95 crores. Yes, that’s right! The film is riding on a cost of 90-95 crores and is one of the most expensive Kannada films.
