Finally, the blockbuster episode of Friday Night SmackDown from Madison Square Garden came to an end. As expected, there was thrill, excitement and heart-thumping moments. We saw Brock Lesnar’s first-ever appearance since SummerSlam return, who picked up a mic and made a confession that made Roman Reigns felt betrayed by Paul Heyman.
The show started with Roman Reigns along with Paul Heyman and The Usos, addressing the people of Madison Square Garden and demanding them to ‘acknowledge them’. He said The Bloodline runs MSG, New York and WWE (of course, we know it). And as expected by many, Brock Lesnar interrupts him. For the first time in almost two years, we saw pyro for Lesnar. Felt good!

As Lesnar picked up a mic, without talking directly with the Universal Champion, Lesnar asked Paul, “Why didn’t you tell Roman that I was gonna be at Summerslam?” Paul with guilt on his face leaves Roman feels betrayed as he walks out of the ring. Without wasting any time, Lesnar challenges Roman for a Universal Championship. Did Roman accept the challenge? Well, will reveal it once we solved the red light mystery.
Last week, we saw a red light distracted Roman Reigns after he retained his title against Finn Bálor. It’s finally been unveiled. It’s none other than Bálor’s alter ego, The Demon. Many fans thought, is it The Fiend? Sadly, that looks impossible for now. But on the bright side, we have got The Demon back and it will be really fun watching him taking on Roman at WWE Extreme Rules.
