War (2019) – Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff‘s blockbuster actioner is ruling the list like a boss. The film presented by YRF brought 53.35 crores on day 1.

Thugs Of Hindostan (2018) – Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan’s duo managed a perfect Diwali opening by garnering 50.75 crores.

Happy New Year (2014) – Shah Rukh Khan’s 2014 heist comedy still holds a place in the top with a monstrous day 1 figure of 44.97 crores.

Bharat (2019) – Here comes the first Salman Khan film on the list. It made 42.30 crores on day 1.

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017) – This Prabhas starrer turned the game around for South films. It made as much as 41 crores on an opening day with its Hindi version.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015) – Second Salman film on the list. The superhit jodi of Rajshri and Salman brought a whopping 40.35 crores on day 1.

Sultan (2016) – It’s Salman’s third film on the list. Backed by YRF, the film took a huge start of 36.54 crores.

Sanju (2018) – It’s Ranbir Kapoor’s only film on the list. Released on a regular Friday, the film made 34.75 crores on day 1.

Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) – Fourth and the last Salman Khan‘s film on the list. It enjoyed a start of 34.10 crores at the box office.

Dhoom 3 (2013) – After Thugs, it’s Aamir Khan’s second film on the list. Sealing the top 10 list of highest openers, it has a day 1 of 33.42 crores to its credit.
