In the second week, the film had a competition in the form of Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon’s Bhediya, which failed to cause any dent at the box office. In fact, during the second weekend, the film saw an extraordinary growth.

The film is reportedly made on a budget of 80 crores including publicity and advertising costs. Considering the collection of 159.17 crores, it has already recovered its making cost and is now running in profits.
Speaking about the box office returns, the film has made 79.17 crores‘ profit so far. It equals to 98.96%, which means that this Ajay Devgn starrer is just inches away from hitting 100% returns.
Drishyam 2 will soon become a clean box office hit and is on its way to become a super-hit as there are no signs of slowing down yet. In the lifetime run, the film is expected to earn above 200 crores.
