The Kashmir Files has left a historic impact at the Indian box office in a matter of just one week. Starring Anupam Kher and others, the film scored another huge day on Thursday i.e. day 7 and below is all you need to know.
The film which started off its journey from 600 screens is now running successfully on 2000 screens, and that’s truly commendable. We saw the biggest collection day coming on Wednesday and a similar trend was witnessed even on Thursday.
As the early estimates flowing in, The Kashmir Files has earned 17-19 crores on day 7. Reports from some centres are yet to come, so this figure might even go here and there. Considering the above-mentioned range, the grand total of TKF now stands at 96.25-98.25 crores. As of now, it looks like the film is missing the century by an inch.
Speaking of tomorrow, The Kashmir Files continues to do wonders as it is dominating Bachchhan Paandey in advance bookings for Friday despite the latter being a new release with a star value of Akshay Kumar. Not by a small margin but TKF is enjoying 8 times the advance booking of Akshay’s film. It just narrates how it’s going to be in its week 2 run.
Not just the advance bookings but The Kashmir Files might even surprise one and all by collecting a bigger sum than Bachchhan Paandey’s opening day. The reason is pretty much simple and it all comes down to how much showcasing TKF and BP are getting.
Trade reports state that TKF is retaining all of its 2000 screens. Moreover, more screens are getting added from the second Friday. And for those who don’t know, the Hindi belt has odd 4500 screens. So even if TKF take away 2200 screens, Bachchhan Paandey would be left with just 2300 screens. But that would ideal case as all 4500 screens aren’t just getting divided between TKF and BP. Films like Gangubai Kathiawadi, The Batman and Jhund are still running and will take away some screens from the total count available.
