Prithviraj Teaser Review: Fans are yet to get out from the euphoria of Sooryavanshi, but amid that, another Akshay Kumar starrer has taken social media by storm. But is it really worth all the hype it’s getting on Twitter trends, YouTube reactions and other platforms? Let’s try to analyze it.

Timing of the announcement

Prithviraj’s teaser was dropped today afternoon. Not many people were aware that the teaser was supposed to release today. The makers would have created a bit of buzz before dropping the teaser. Nonetheless, its reception is really good as Akshay Kumar is currently enjoying all the hype of Sooryavanshi’s success.

Production value of Prithviraj

To be honest, the production value was truly impressive. As the film is a historical drama, the technical area was a crucial part and it looks like we’re witnessing a true magnum opus. And why not, after all, it’s backed by Yash Raj Films. The props, set design, locations, everything looked cool.

Cast

The cast comprises Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood and debutante Manushi Chhillar. Dutt looked straight out of the Panipat zone, while Akshay looked decent if not that good in the titular role. Sonu Sood and Manushi Chhillar looked more impressive than anyone else. Let’s hope the film serves us more on the plate.

VFX

Overall the VFX work looked good, but there were a couple of spots where the work looked shoddy. One scene was of Akshay when he marches towards the enemy with a sword in his hand. Another scene was of Akshay pulling up Manushi Chhillar with just one hand. It looked really weirdly done.

What stood out the most?

The most impressive thing about the teaser was its background score and narration. While the narration opened the teaser brilliantly, the BGM took it to the next level. If not anything else then the background score surely deserves thumbs up!
