Shah Rukh Khan is all set to mark his epic comeback next year with three films in a line. One of those films is Jawan, which marks his first-ever pan-Indian film. The Atlee directorial stars Shah Rukh Khan in a lead role, along with Nayanthara as a female lead. It also has Vijay Sethupathi as an antagonist with Sanya Malhotra and Sunil Grover in supporting roles. The shoot of the film is still going on and it is scheduled to release on 2nd June 2023.
Now, as per the tweet by LetsCinema, Jawan has managed to crack bumper deals. It is learnt that the OTT rights and satellite (TV) rights have been sold at a price of 250 crores, which is humongous. OTT rights have been acquired by Netflix and TV rights are bought by Zee TV. From the last few days, several big guns were trying to acquire Shah Rukh Khan’s highly-anticipated actioner and it’s Zee TV and Netflix who provided the best deals.
This news about Jawan is truly an eye-opener for those who have been doubting about Shah Rukh Khan’s relevance in today’s time. The figure of 250 crores just proves that Shah Rukh is King Khan for a reason!
Meanwhile, recently the picture of Shah Rukh Khan, Atlee and Thalapathy Vijay went viral on the internet. It just confirmed the rumour of Thalapathy’s cameo in the film, elevating the buzz of Jawan further.
Helmed by Atlee, Jawan will be Shah Rukh’s pan-India debut as it scheduled to release in five Indian languages- Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
