Last week was all about Bollywood star Akshay Kumar. Earlier last week, he marked the 25th anniversary of his film Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi. Post that he announced Bell Bottom’s release date. Now, the actor has addressed rumours of him being in Dhoom 4.
In the last week, we saw a trend of Dhoom 4 making noise on Twitter. Fans circulated news stating that both Salman Khan and Akki will share a screen in the fourth instalment of YRF’s heist franchise. He has now made a clarification about the same.
During one of his recent interviews, Akshay addressed the rumours states a report in Bollywood Hungama. In two words, he rejected the popular social media rumour by quoting it’s “fake news”.
Now, that’s a sad development for Akki fans, but we would love to watch him being part of Dhoom 4!
Meanwhile, Akshay gave a funny twist to the recent 25th anniversary of Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi. To commemorate the event, Akshay shared a meme claiming to be one of those who defeated The Undertaker. In the Bollywood film, The Deadman (not Mark Calaway) wrestled against Akshay.
The post quickly went viral, attracting the attention of the real Undertaker, who then challenged Akshay to a rematch. Undertaker responded to Akshay’s meme by writing: “Ha! Tell me when you’re ready for a REAL rematch!” Akshay was quick to respond, leaving people laughing about his response: “Let me check on my insurance and get back, bro!”

On the occasion of Father’s Day today, Akshay Kumar took to Instagram to share a collage of pictures with his kids – Aarav and Nitara, and his father. He captioned the picture, “My father gave me an ocean of love and wisdom. If I’ve been able to pass on even a few drops to my kids, my work here is well done! Happy #FathersDay to all.”

On the work front, Akshay Kumar will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s cop drama Sooryavanshi co-starring Katrina Kaif. He’ll also appear in Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re alongside Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan. He has Bachchan Pandey with Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez.
Akshay’s Bell Bottom is set for a release in theatres on 27th July 2021.
