Brahmastra, Ayan Mukerji’s long-awaited film, has been in the works for several years. The film, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, has been in the works since 2018 but has had several setbacks owing to the epidemic and other difficulties.
The final schedule for Dharma Productions’ much-delayed next release has been set for Budapest.
Fans have been waiting to watch Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor together on the big screen since it was announced. Due to the pandemic, the film has been delayed, and fans’ anticipation is at its peak.
The cast and crew of Brahmastra will get vaccinated before flying to Hungary for the last phase of the production. Given that foreign travel will begin in August, the film intends to resume the final schedule after August.
The film’s production resumed in February of the current year. It came to a halt when the film’s leading actors became infected with the virus. Alia had acquired the virus after Ranbir, and by April, the Maharashtra government had announced another lockdown.
This is the first film in which Ranbir and Alia will be seen together. The pair have been open about their relationship for a long time. The two are frequently spotted spending quality time with each other’s families.
On the professional front, Ranbir will start work soon on Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, in which he co-stars with Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Parineeti Chopra. He is also in Luv Ranjan’s upcoming film, which co-stars Shraddha Kapoor.
Alia, on the other hand, has a full slate of interesting projects including Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, SS Rajamouli’s RRR and Karan Johar’s Takht.
