Allu Arjun Offered 100 Crores As Fees; Bachchan Pandey Makers Rejected Record-Breaking OTT Offer? (Money’s Matters)

Both the offers are sh*t crazy!

It’s all about some interesting money-related news towards the end of this week. Two of the biggest news are about Allu Arjun and Akshay Kumar’s upcoming biggie, Bachchan Pandey. Keep reading to know the exciting deets from the entertainment world.

Allu Arjun is on cloud nine at the moment, all thanks to the tremendous success of Pushpa. While the film was performed as expected in the Telugu market, it’s the performance of the Hindi version that has taken everyone by surprise.

Post Pushpa‘s success, the actor is in great demand and there are reports stating, he’s approached for a pan-Indian film by Lyca Productions. And none other than hit director Atlee will be helming the film. While there’s no official word about the collaboration, reports about Allu Arjun’s fees are leaving many stunned.

It’s heard that Allu Arjun has offered a huge sum of 100 crores for a pan-Indian film by Lyca Productions. As the actor has successfully expanded his reach, the investment seems good for the makers. If this happens, Allu will be among the highest-paid Indian actors of all time, entering the league of Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, and Salman Khan.

Another exciting news is about Akshay Kumar‘s Bachchan Pandey. The film is all set to release on 18th March i.e. on the occasion of Holi. However, before this announcement was made, reports state that producer Sajid Nadiadwala had finalized the deal for the direct OTT release of the film.

Considering the uncertainty of Covid, Sajid was actively in talks with OTT mediums for selling Bachchan Pandey for direct OTT release. This huge offer was bagged as a result of recent Akshay Kumar’s films’ performance on OTT (Sooryavanshi, Atrangi Re, and Laxmii).

If reports are to go by, the film had locked a deal of 175 crores. Yes, that’s a crazy amount! Isn’t it?

Interestingly, Sajid Nadiadwala called off the deal and decided to go for a theatrical release, as many other biggies are opting to arrive in theatres now.
