Allu Arjun is all set to bring storm in theatres with his upcoming biggie, Pushpa. The film is Allu’s first pan India release. What Baahubali did to Prabhas and KGF did to Yash, the same thing is expected for the stylish star with his upcoming biggie.
The film is planned for two instalments, out of which, the first instalment is releasing on 17th December all across the globe. It is releasing in five Indian languages including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
Allu Arjun’s fees for PushpaÂ
Reportedly, Allu has hiked his fees tremendously for Pushpa. Earlier, the stylish star used to charge an amount of 15-18 crores per film. It is from this film, the actor has decided to up his salary game. If reports are to be believed, Allu has charged as high as 35 crores for just one instalment. Yes, it’s a hike of more than double the amount.
This film was in the making for a long, and also, Allu has already committed his dates to shoot part 2. So, the given hike doesn’t come as a big surprise.
Pushpa’s budget
We saw in the trailer, a huge amount of money has been invested in the making of the film. It has a stellar cast with Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. Huge sets were erected during the making; also a big number of people (including junior artists). All such things naturally made the makers spend a huge sum on the making.
If reports are to be believed, Pushpa carries a budget of around 150-155 crores.
Not just the abovementioned factors, the Sukumar directorial suffered the heat of the pandemic, due to which the film went over budget with huge sets triggering staggering maintenance costs.
With such a huge investment riding, moviegoers are expected to get tremendous entertainment and a visual treat on 17th December.
