Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra is now just a few hours away from hitting the big screen and the excitement is in the air. The film is already the biggest for Bollywood in terms of advance booking in 2022. But if compared with overall Hindi films, which also include dubbed releases, it stands second at the box office. Yash’s KGF Chapter 2 is rocking in the first place like a boss.
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film was in the making for years. Yes, movie lovers got excited when it was announced and insights about it came but during the pandemic, the buzz went downhill. It remained till the last few days, but it seems that there has been an undercurrent which is now reflected through strong advance bookings. And all of a sudden, the film is witnessing the hype like never before.
Now coming to figures, Brahmastra has accumulated 13.10 crores gross for its Hindi version and this figure doesn’t include blocked seats. Also, please note that this update is as of 6.30 pm. With still a few hours to go, it won’t be a surprise if the magnum opus hits the 15 crore mark before its first show begins. Of course, Brahmastra will finish in second place, but it will be interesting to see if any upcoming Hindi film matched the figure of KGF Chapter 2.
