RRR Japan Box Office Collection: Not Up To The Mark, Rajinikanth To Remain Unbeatable!

RRR starring Ram Charan & Jr NTR is enjoying a good box office in Japan. However, it's not up to the mark. Here's the collection report!

Ram Charan and Jr NTR’s RRR is enjoying a good run in Japan, however, it’s not up to the mark. In fact, it might not even cross the box office collection of films like Saaho and Baahubali 2 there. As of now, it’s Rajinikanth who is ruling at the top and he’s expected to be there for some more time.

Before the release on 21st October, SS Rajamouli, Ram Charan and Jr NTR went to Japan and carried out an aggressive campaigning. As the film received a tremendous love and appreciation from all across the world, expectations were really sky high. But in reality, the film hasn’t made any huge impact so far in Japan.

As per trade reports, RRR has made approx 5 crores gross (in Indian rupees) at the Japanese box office in the first week. When compared to other Indian releases, these are good numbers, but there’s standard set for this SS Rajamouli’s film and one expects it to be banger in collections.

RRR is going steady but failing to show any big jumps in collections. In fact, the film might fail to cross Prabhas’ Saaho, which did a business of around 12 crores gross in Japan. It might even fail to cross SS Rajamouli’s own Baahubali 2: The Conclusion which earned around 16 crores gross there.

Speaking about the highest grossing Indian film in Japan, Rajinikanth’s Muthu is at the top with the collection of 20 crores+, as per the report in TrackTollywood.com.

Meanwhile, the SS Rajamouli directorial has ended its lifetime run with the box office collection of 1112 crores. In India alone, RRR did a business of 772 crores.
