Dhanush' Raayan is turning out to be a big success at the worldwide box office. Here's how much collection it has earned till now!

Raayan, starring Dhanush in the lead role, continues to mint good moolah at the worldwide box office. Recently, it completed a run of two weeks in theatres and has now entered the third week. It has already earned well over 130 crores gross and will soon be hitting the mark of 150 crores gross. As of now, Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 is the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2024 and this Dhanush starrer will be toppling it in the next few days.
After Pa Paandi, this latest Kollywood revenge drama marks Dhanush’s second directorial venture. It was released in theatres on July 26, and upon its arrival, the film received mixed to positive reviews from critics. Among the ticket-buying audience, the response had been favorable. As a result, it comfortably entered the 100-crore club and went on to achieve several box office feats.
Raayan has completed 15 days in theatres and within this period, it has amassed 85.60 crores net at the Indian box office. Including taxes, the gross domestic collection stands at 101 crores gross. In overseas, too, the response has been good and so far, the film has earned 39 crores gross. So, at the worldwide box office, the sum stands at 140 crores gross.
Recently, this revenge drama emerged as the highest-grossing film in the career of Dhanush. It surpassed Thiruchitrambalam’s 117.50 crores gross global collection. In India, too, it has become the highest net grosser for the actor as it crossed the domestic lifetime collection of Vaathi (77.30 crores net).
Currently, Raayan is the second highest-grossing Tamil film of 2024 as Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 is sitting at the top with 151 crores gross. The Dhanush starrer needs just another 12 crores to surpass it and become the highest-grossing Kollywood film of the year. However, in the domestic market, it has already become Kollywood’s highest-grosser of the year by surpassing Indian 2’s 83 crores net.
