Nani’s pan-India debut
Thanks to Eega and Jersey, Nani isn’t an unknown face to the audience outside Telugu-speaking states. And with Dasara, which is releasing tomorrow, the actor is all set to make his official pan-India debut with his film releasing in as many as five Indian languages- Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
Dasara to be Nani’s biggest opener
As per the trade data, the upcoming film is going to be Nani’s biggest-ever opener by taking a start with 50% more collection compared to his biggest opener to date. On the home ground, i.e. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the film is enjoying a superb response and tickets are getting sold like hotcakes.
Dasara day 1 advance booking at the box office
As per the latest update, Dasara has sold tickets worth 4.02 crores gross (excluding blocked seats) in the Telugu version alone through advance booking for day 1, which is huge. This clearly suggests that the Telugu states are going to pull off a terrific start tomorrow.
The Hindi version has earned around 4 lakhs gross for day 1 so far. The Tamil version has sold tickets worth 1.45 lakhs gross, while the Malayalam version has sold tickets worth 4.5 thousand gross. The Kannada version has sold tickets worth just 2.2 thousand gross.
On the whole, Dasara has accumulated a sum of 4.07 crores gross through day 1 advance booking. With a few more hours to go before the first show starts, we expect the number to reach 4.50 crores or even higher. Across the country, the film has sold well over 2.29 lakh tickets from day 1 advance booking, suggesting a superb start is on the board.
