The trend of arranging special shows continues to rise, especially in the Telugu market. The latest one to join the trend is none other than RRR star Ram Charan. Originally Orange was a flop!

Helmed by Bhaskar, the film also starred Genelia D’Souza and Shazahn Padamsee in key roles. It received mixed reviews upon its release in 2010 and was a big flop at the box office back then. Expectedly, when its re-release was announced, fans of Ram Charan were clueless and worried about the humiliation of their favourite star. However, the actual result has shocked one and all.

Orange re-release collection in first 3 days

In the first three days (24 to 26 March), Orange has earned a whopping 2.1 crores gross from the Telugu-speaking states. More than half of the collections have come from the Nizam region alone. As per the original plan, the film was supposed to run in theatres from 24 to 27 March. However, such a phenomenal response and houseful shows even during weekdays have forced the exhibitors to continue screening for the next few days.

Big surprise ahead for Ram Charan fans?

After a superb response to Orange’s re-release, it is learnt that we might even get to see Magadheera re-releasing in theatres. As of now, nothing is officially confirmed but there’s a strong possibility that Ram Charan’s magnum opus released in 2009 might hit theatres once again.
