Dilip Joshi Lost 10 Kgs Of His Body Weight Without Going To The Gym

Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame surprised us a few years back when shredded a few kilos. After keeping a mum, he once opened up about his secret of losing weight and left everyone stunned.

Dilip got his breakthrough in the TV industry with Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He has been a part of the cast for 13 years. Dilip says that he is not bored of playing Jethalal and loves to work with the cast. However, due to hectic shoot schedules, he suffered some health problems. He gained a lot of weight due to ignorance of health.

But it was a few years back when fans of the show noticed that the actor has lost many pounds from his body weight. Initially, there were rumours that stated that Dilip is ill. However, it was not true, and the reason was different. 

Back then, Dilip Joshi was following a pretty strict diet which made a difference of 10 kgs in his body. He also revealed that he is a big-time foodie, and it was hard for him to follow a diet. However, when he started getting positive results, he inclined towards adopting a healthy lifestyle. 

Dilip Joshi had said, “Due to my hectic schedule, I do not get time to hit the gym. And so, I am on a strict diet which has helped me to shed almost 10 kgs. I think a healthy lifestyle is very important and for that weight loss was important too. I am very much happy with the positive result,” as per News18’s report.

In March 2015, Dilip had tweeted expressing how he feels he should be fit enough to shoot for long hours. He wrote, “Just needed to lose some weight to be fit enough to shoot for 12 hours a day to entertain you lovely friends.”
