Snyder cut represents the fifth film of DC Extended Universe and carries the same superhero team. It follows the plot of Justice League wherein superheroes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman, and Flash are trying to save the world from a lethal and catastrophic threat from the army of Parademons. 

Why did Zack Snyder release his edited version of the American superhero film?

Justice League was released in 2017 after going through major difficulties in its production. The script underwent many changes. However, before the release in May 2017, Snyder lost his daughter and stepped down during the post-production stage. He was replaced by Joss Whedon. Hence, the DC Universe’s fans expressed that an alternate cut, relatively more faithful to Snyder’s vision, must be released. They also nicknamed it ‘Snyder’s Cut’ and made it trending all across social media. It’s learnt that the latest version has cost around $70 million to complete the mind-boggling visual effects and editing.
