Many people believe that Bollywood actors are an open book with lots of social media in the play. But it isn’t the case. Behind the glamour, the lives of actors are often gloomy and mysterious. And one such incident is of Vishal Thakkar, whose life turned out to be a big mystery.
Vishal appeared in many Bollywood movies, but he gained popularity due to his character of Munnabhai MBBS. He played a character of a young guy who tries to kill himself due to failure in his love life. He even made an appearance in the popular TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Even though the actor wasn’t part of big projects, he did not have a flop career either.
According to the reports, Vishal Thakkar has not returned home since 31st December 2015. The actor has been missing for the last 6 years.
The mother of Vishal Thakkar said that he was going to watch the movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens in a theatre on the 31st December. The actor asked his mother to tag along. However, she refused. He borrowed five hundred rupees from his mother and left his home at 10:30 PM. Vishal’s mother had no clue that it would be the last time she will see her son.
The same day, at night, Vishal texted his father that he is going to a party. He said he would return the next day. But he never came back. It has been five years, and there is no progress in the case.
Vishal’s girlfriend said that she saw Vishal on Ghodbunder Road in Thane the next day i.e. 1st January January. Since then, his phone is deactivated and there has been no activity from his bank account. No one has received a ransom call either.
Three months before Vishal disappeared, his girlfriend had alleged him of r*pe and assault. Even though the two resolved later and the complaint was taken back, it affected Vishal’s career. Vishal’s mother said that he was a sensitive guy. He could not take the insult he faced due to the allegations.
