Ram Setu budget

It is learnt that the film has been made at a budget of whopping 140 crores. Apart from starring big star like Akshay Kumar, the action-adventure film has been shot on a grand scale and a lot of work is said to be done in the post production. A considerable amount is reportedly paid for VFX and CGI work to make it a visual treat.

Akshay Kumar fees

Just like Raksha Bandhan, Akshay is co-producing this one under his banner ‘Cape Of Good Films’. It is learnt that the actor has charged 50 crores as his fees and the rest of the amount will come to him through profit sharing in non-theatrical revenue and theatrical business (if the film becomes a box office success). On the whole, Akshay had reportedly quoted a sum of 120 crores to do the film, with 50 crores being paid as upfront.

Leaving aside Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez is the second-most expensive actor to be in Ram Setu. She has reportedly charged 4 crores for her role.

Given the heavy budget, Ram Setu needs to make at least 150 crores at the box office to avoid the negative verdict.
