Billa Re-Release Box Office: Prabhas Starrer Creates History In USA Even Before Arriving, Advance Booking Update Out

Prabhas is celebrating his 43rd birthday on 23rd October and his fans are all set to show love to their favourite star by watching Billa in theatres. Yes, you read that right! The 2009 Telugu film is witnessing its re-release in Telugu states and in the USA. Here’s its box office update including advance booking and much more.

Re-releasing films on actors’ birthdays is now in trend, especially Tollywood industry is promoting it in full swing. This year, we saw films of Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan releasing once again in theatres on their respective birthday. Recently, even Amitabh Bachchan’s classic films were screened in PVR Cinemas at selected places across the country, to celebrate his birthday. The list has got bigger with Prabhas joining in.

On 23rd October, special shows of Billa have been arranged in Telugu states- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film is releasing in 4K version and there’s excitement among Prabhas fans to catch it on the big screen. The advance booking of the same is yet to commence full-fledged here. However, bookings are already open in the USA.

In the USA, Billa is re-releasing on 22nd October at 6 pm and 9:30 pm and even before arriving in theatres, the film has created a history. Reportedly, it’ll be playing at 70+ locations in the USA, which is the biggest ever re-release for any Indian films. The advance booking for the same has already started.

As of now, Billa has sold tickets worth $1,800 gross from the USA and it is expected to see a big rise soon. In India, the film is expected to do record business by beating previous best of Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu. It is expected to see the biggest ever screen count for a re-release in Telugu states.
