No, Boycott Bollywood Trend Isn’t For All But It’s Specifically For Khans & Celebs Who Are Anti-Establishment!

It has become a hell of toxic now and it's high time that action should be taken!

Nowadays, there’s a new fad in the market and it’s the ‘Boycott Bollywood’ trend. It’s been in discussions ever since the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, but it is gaining some momentum in recent times. It came out as more profound during the release of Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha. But what’s really the boycott trend all about and is it really backed by genuine reasons or does it has any hidden propaganda? Let’s break it down as much as possible.

When did the trend actually start?

Ever since the alleged suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput, there has been a section of netizens and people who think that there’s something fishy about Sushant’s death and he’s killed by the Bollywood mafia. Some are claiming that it’s the elites of Bollywood who took away work from Sushant and made him suffer. This was the first time when the boycott trend became prominent.

More elements getting added to the trend!

Not just Sushant Singh Rajput but the boycott Bollywood trend has got more reasons added to it. Some are claiming that Bollywood films insult Hinduism and religious beliefs. Some have joined this trend due to the arrogance of the actors, while others are targetting specific actors like they are traitors of India.

Boycott Bollywood trend is full of hypocrisy & has a hidden agenda behind it!

If you closely observe, this trend takes a driving seat on social media only for Khan-specific films. The best example is unnecessary hate and negativity for Laal Singh Chaddha. Yes, even Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan faced some sort of wrath but it was nothing when compared to Aamir’s film.

The fresh boycott trend is now against Liger. It is receiving all the hate just because Vijay Deverakonda was trying to show some support to Aamir Khan. I mean seriously? Kuch sense hai iss baat ka?

Some other films that are facing this boycott trend are Pathaan and Taapsee Pannu- Anurag Kashyap’s Dobaaraa. One is a film starring Shah Rukh Khan and the other has the name Kashyap attached to it. Is there any need to say more?

If one observes closely, only those people getting targetted who are known or believed to be anti-establishment. All those who have the power to raise unpopular opinions are being targeted by bots or some brainwashed people.

There’s whole machinery working, including some so-called critics, which is busy with deteriorating Khans and anti-establishment voices. Only those people and films are being favoured and extensively promoted that suit the agenda of the people in the power.

If boycott Bollywood is the real deal, why do films like major releases like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, The Kashmir Files, Samrat Prithviraj and many others were spared? Isn’t it a hypocritical approach? Now, as dots are getting connected, it has become very much clear that this trend is nothing but an attempt to shut a few ‘selected’ voices.
