Paranormal stories have always piqued the audience’s interest, be it real-life or fictional. Even though Bollywood still lacks in the horror genre, there are some real scary incidents experienced by actors. Many celebs have gone through paranormal experiences on movie sets. So, in today’s piece, we’ll be talking about such actors who have confessed to suffering such spooky incidents while shooting for the film. The list includes Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan and many other names.
Ranveer Singh
Ranveer Singh played the role of Peshwa Bajirao in Bajirao Mastani. He once confessed that while he was shooting for the film, he had a spooky experience, which completely freaked him out. He had said, “I recall it as one of the most difficult days of the shoot. I thought I felt some kind of presence and something told me it’s him. I had a tough task ahead of me on that day of the shoot, and I was praying hard to get it right.” He said that there was a black wall on the sets with white dust on it. The dust formed the shape of Bajirao’s figure, which had a turban, eyes, nose, mustache and arms.
Varun Dhawan
Varun Dhawan said that Frank Sinatra’s (American singer and actor) spirit haunted him when he was shooting for ABCD 2. He stayed in the same hotel where Frank used to stay. While sharing his experience, he said, “The suite was haunted because at night I would hear someone singing, and the doors would just fling open.”
Bipasha Basu
When Bipasha was shooting at the Mukesh Mills, she was rehearsing her lines in a room alone, and she could not remember anything. Later, she was taken out of the set and given holy water. The next day, they tried to have a pooja on the set, and the priest met with an accident. Further, the location had to be changed.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui
Nawazuddin Siddiqui had a paranormal experience twice while shooting for his films. First, when he was shooting for Aatma, the cast and crew heard a woman singing between the shooting. However, when they hear the recording, no singing sound was found. Another incident took place when he was shooting for Sacred Games. The frame hanging on the wall first tilted and then fell on the ground and broke. Since there was no moment in the room, everyone wondered how the frame crashed.
Govinda
While shooting for a movie in the hilly areas, Govinda was staying at a hotel. He said that he suddenly woke up at night and saw a woman sitting on his chest, and his room was a mess when he came back to his senses.
