Interestingly, the film kicked off in March 2020, when the COVID wave started spreading across the country. As expected, the film did suffer multiple delays during the shoot and it affected the overall budget. Initially, the film was planned as only a Kannada film but with pan-Indian films making all the noise, the makers decided to dub it in multiple languages and pushed their budget to a large extent.
Don’t know if it’s true, but Vikrant Rona was initially planned to be made on a budget of around 20 crores. Surprisingly, in order to make it a pan-Indian film and a visual spectacle, the budget was then increased up to 90-95 crores. Yes, that’s right! The film is riding on a cost of 90-95 crores and is one of the most expensive Kannada films.
Kichcha Sudeep & Jacqueline Fernandez’s fees
