Bell Bottom Box Office: Akshay Kumar Might Surpass His Own Special 26’s Opening On Day 1

All set for a really good start!

Akshay Kumar has taken the responsibility for kickstarting the theatre business as he is the first among Bollywood stars to come out with his biggie on the big screen. His Bell Bottom releases on 19th August. As advance booking has begun in a full swing, the prediction game has been started for Akshay’s espionage thriller. Can you guess, how much will it earn on day 1?

The second wave of COVID has been a more brutal one, but Bell Bottom makers have taken an initiation of testing waters. Remember, a state like Maharashtra is yet to reopen, which means a big chunk of money will be lost. However, as said, Akshay and the team are taking a risk to see if people are in the mood to watch films on the big screen again or not. So far, the response is good as advance booking is showing a promising response.

If we talk about the day 1 collection, the film is releasing on 19th August. On 19th, in many parts of the country, Muharram will be observed. However, a national holiday is on 20th August. So, the opening day falls on a normal working day. Despite not being a holiday, the opening is expected to be a big one (considering the COVID situation).

Of course not at the top, but Bell Bottom is expected to cross Akshay Kumar‘s decent box office openers. Even the states which have reopened theatres aren’t running full throttle due to COVID regulations. Irrespective of such things, the film could very well earn between 7-8 crores.

Bell Bottom is expected to cross Special 26 (7 crores). If the film somehow manages to put a miraculous show (with houseful board all over), 10 crores could be expected. If it happens, the film will beat Akshay Kumar’s Baby (9.3 crores) and Desi Boyz (9 crores).

It will be interesting to see how much Bell Bottom earns on day 1.
