The Kashmir Files opened is 500 screens on Friday. On Saturday, 200 odd screens were added to the tally. On Sunday, the number saw a huge hike with a total of 2000 screens being secured. And looks like, some more screens will be added by tomorrow as Monday day response has been phenomenal with houseful boards at many places.

As per the trade reports flowing in, The Kashmir Files has earned 17-18 crores on its day 4. It’s really a phenomenal response as it’s a bigger number than Sunday’s 15.10 crores. In just 4 days, the film has made 44.15-45.15 crores.

Day 5 i.e. first Tuesday is said to perform at a similar level or even better as the reports are stating that many people didn’t get tickets as shows were running houseful. Earlier said to be a multiplex film, The Kashmir Files is doing wonders in even interiors of Northern states like Uttar Pradesh. It’s similar or even better when compared with big stars’ commercial films.

Now, The Kashmir Files is all set to be the second 100 crore grosser for Bollywood after Gangubai Kathiawadi. The film might even enter into the 200 crore club as the trending is better than another historic blockbuster, Uri – The Surgical Strike.

It is directed by Vivek Agnihotri.
