Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s highly awaited romantic saga, Radhe Shyam showed a steady trend at the box office on its day 3. It comes after a heavy drop on day 2. Below are all the details you need to know.
Riding high on a huge budget, the film took an earth-shattering start by making 47 crores on day 1. Even though it’s a big start, many thought it was underwhelming considering Prabhas’ recent film, Saaho, had raked in monstrous 88 crores on its opening day.
Radhe Shyam is performing brilliantly in the Telugu version, but it’s the Hindi version that is making a huge difference in numbers. On day 3, the film earned 23.50 crores (all languages) at the box office, which is good after Saturday’s 24 crores.
Speaking of Saaho, the film had earned 20 crore+ with the Hindi version on each of its days during its first weekend. In the case of Radhe Shyam, the film is failing to even go past the 6 crore mark, and bad word-of-mouth is definitely needed to be blamed. Other than it, The Kashmir Files is on a historic run at the ticket windows and dominating the number game in the Hindi belt.
Radhe Shyam now stands at the Indian collection of 94.50 crores (all languages). It will cross the 100 crore mark on Monday i.e day 4. Considering the disappointing reviews and public feedback, the film will be a complete washout in the Hindi market and The Kashmir Files will completely crush it. It’s the Telugu version that will keep adding numbers to the tally but with a huge drop during weekdays.
