Sooryavanshi has maintained a solid momentum on its day 2 after taking a fantastic start. Opening day
Shetty’s cop drama released yesterday. It bagged a whopping start of 26.29 crores. Everyone had expected a start of 19-21 crores for the film, but the opening was something unexpected. On day 2 too, a solid trend has been witnessed as another 20 crore+ day is in the kitty.
Day 2 estimates
As per the early estimates, Sooryavanshi has earned 22-24 crores on day 2 i.e. Saturday. The 2-day total now stands at a monstrous amount of 48.29-50.29 crores. On Sunday, a number in the range of 24-26 crores is expected. Let’s see what happens.
As of now, Akshay Kumar starrer is all set to touch 75 crores in the opening weekend, which would be really a huge achievement. The film is expected to cross the 100 crore mark like a cakewalk.

Even overseas numbers of opening day are out and it’s visible that Sooryavanshi has been welcomed with open arms. If trade reports are to be believed, the cop drama has made around 8.20 crores in overseas market on its opening day. The film is released across 1300 screens in the international market. The biggest chunk of the collection is coming from UAE and US, Canada. As word-of-mouth is decent, this Rohit Shetty’s entertainer will enjoy a glorious run at the box office.
