Sooryavanshi Day 3 Morning Occupancy: Takes A Bigger Start Than Opening Day

Sooryavanshi is making most of its festive season release. After taking a fantastic start, the morning occupancy report of its day 3 is out. Contrary to all mixed critics’ reviews, the film has taken a bigger start than opening day.

On day 1, Sooryavanshi opened on a good note all across the country. The cop drama opened to a morning occupancy of 30-32% in India. If not more, at least a similar number was expected over the entire weekend. Interestingly, today i.e. on day 3, the number is a bit higher.

As per the reports flowing in, this Akshay Kumar starrer has opened with a morning occupancy of 40-42% today. Considering it’s Sunday, a big chunk of the family audience is expected to join the party. By afternoon itself, a houseful board is expected on several places. Truly, a terrific comeback after a COVID blow!

Speaking of the collections, Sooryavanshi earned 26.29 crores on opening day. The day 2 numbers are in the range of 22-24 crores, taking the grand total to 48.29-50.29 crores. Today, a number in the range of 25-27 crores is expected. One can’t even rule out the possibility of a day of 30 crores.

Helmed by Rohit Shetty, the film also has Katrina Kaif, Jaaved Jaaferi, Jackie Shroff, Abhimanyu Singh, Nikitin Dheer and Gulshan Grover in key roles. Ajay Devgn is reprising his Singham character, while Ranveer Singh is seen playing Simmba in the film (cameos).

The film released on 5th November 2021 all across the globe. It’s currently playing on 3519 screens in India, while in overseas, it’s playing on over 1300 screens.

Akshay Kumar plays the character of DCP Veer Sooryavanshi. His character was introduced in Ranveer Singh led Simmba. Akshay was seen towards the end of Simmba.
