Jawan will mark Shah Rukh Khan's first-ever pan-India release
After a hiatus of 5 years, Shah Rukh Khan is treating fans with not 1 or 2 but three exciting biggies. One of them is Jawan, which also marks his first-ever pan-India film. Now, we have got our hands on the budget of the film including the fees of Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. The numbers are going to surprise you!
This Shah Rukh Khan starrer will be the actor’s second comeback film in 2023 after YRF’s Pathaan. It is helmed by Tamil hit machine, Atlee, who is well known for his mass commercial entertainers. The announcement teaser which was released a couple of months ago was no less than a treat for fans, and with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara also joining the party, the excitement is at its peak.
Now coming to the budget, Jawan is riding on a whopping investment of 180 crores. Yes, that’s right! It’s one of the most expensive films of Shah Rukh Khan, which is backed by the actor himself under his production house, Red Chillies Entertainment. As it’s a home production, SRK isn’t charging anything but would take home a chunk of profit. The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra and Sunil Grover.
Vijay Sethupathi is reportedly charging as huge as 21 crores as his fees for Jawan. With this film, Vijay will be receiving his heftiest pay cheque ever. South beauty Nayanthara is also taking home a huge 11 crores. The combined total of Sunil Grover and Sanya Malhotra’s fees is under 1 crore. Out of all, director Atlee is taking away the biggest pay cheque as he’s reportedly charging a humongous 30 crores as his fees for this masala entertainer.
Meanwhile, apart from all these actors, Deepika Padukone and Thalapathy Vijay will be seen in cameos in Jawan. It is scheduled to release on 2nd June 2023.
