KGF Chapter 2, as expected, has opened to a tremendous response in theatres across the country. While each and every version is garnering moolah, it’s the Hindi version of the film which is set to create history with a record-breaking collection on day 1.
A few weeks back, KGF 2 looked like a film that would open in a range of 20-25 crores. But the momentum has been changed drastically with some aggressive promotional strategies and loyal KGF fans making most of the social media platforms.
In advance booking, KGF Chapter 2 saw record-breaking trends. So, a terrific opening was definitely on the cards. However, as word-of-mouth is highly positive, footfalls have jumped for evening and night shows. Now, as per early estimates that are flowing in, the film has earned a whopping 46-48 crores on day 1 from the Hindi version alone. It has every single chance of touching the 50 crore mark with reports from many places yet to come.
Speaking about the competition, only Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast is a big movie present in theatres, which too has received mixed reviews, thus preventing KGF from any major dent at the box office. So now, KGF Chapter 2 is set to rule the Indian box office like no one imagined.
