Nani's first-ever pan-India film, Dasara is enjoying a good response in advance booking for day 1. Here's all you need to know about it!
Tollywood actor Nani is all set to witness his pan-India debut with the upcoming film, Dasara. The film is releasing on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, i.e. on 30th March. As expected the biggie is showing good response in Telugu-speaking states in advance booking. Let’s take a look at it in detail below in the box office report 1 of the film!
Helmed by Srikanth Odela, the film also stars Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith Shetty and others in key roles. In the Hindi belt, it’ll be clashing with Ajay Devgn’s much-awaited Bholaa. However, the Nani starrer is expected to dominate in the South region. It’ll be arriving in 5 Indian languages- Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
Nani’s name is attracting crowds in the Telugu-speaking states- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Speaking about the advance booking response, the Telugu version already earned 2.12 crores gross through ticket sales for day 1 (excluding blocked seats). It has sold 1.17 lakhs tickets so far. It’s good considering there’s still a day to go.
In the Tamil version, Dasara has sold tickets worth 52 thousand gross. The Hindi version and Malayalam version have sold tickets worth 1.74 lakhs gross and 5 thousand gross respectively. The data for the Kannada version is yet to come out.
So, on the whole, Dasara has sold tickets worth 2.14 crores gross for the opening day.
Dasara is undoubtedly going to be Nani’s biggest opener ever at the box office. If the content clicks with the audience, the film has the potential to score tremendously as it will gain traction from other dubbed versions too, apart from its original Telugu version.
