The full-fledged advance booking for Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa is now finally open all across the country, and new shows are getting listed. A few days back, the 4DX and IMAX 3D versions were made open, and the numbers got stuck after an initial good start. For those who don’t know, the film is an official Hindi remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Kaithi starring Karthi. It is considered a masterpiece in Kollywood and it’ll be interesting to see how Ajay Devgn has helmed it. The action-thriller is scheduled to release on Ram Navami, i.e. 30th March and also stars Tabu, Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, Vineet Kumar and Gajraj Rao in key roles.
Bholaa’s performance in advance booking so far
The full-fledged advance booking of Bholaa has started today and as we write, more shows are getting added for online booking. By today evening, almost all shows are expected to get listed. As per the last trade update, the film has already seen a sale of tickets worth 19.20 lakhs gross all across the country for day 1. This is inclusive of 2D, 3D, IMAX 3D and 4DX versions with the 3D version being the driving force.
As we mentioned in the box office report 1 of Bholaa, the opening of normal 2D and 3D shows in the advance booking has paced up the collections. Just like big event films, this Ajay Devgn starrer to has opted for a blockbuster pricing strategy (higher ticket rates than usual). It means that the film has a good chance of putting a solid opening day on board.
