Brahmastra has shattered all the records for third Friday by earning highest collections, all thanks to National Cinema Day. Read to know more!
Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt is refusing slow down at the box office. Boosting that momentum further, the film got a big push all thanks to National Cinema Day. And guess what, it managed to record the biggest third Friday in the history of Hindi cinema by surpassing terrific numbers of Bahubali 2: The Conclusion (Hindi).
For the unversed, the magnum opus helmed by Ayan Mukerji sold 11 lakh+ tickets through advance bookings only. It all happened due to ticket rates being priced at just 75 rupees (2D and 3D) and 15-200 rupees (IMAX 3D). Being a big screen spectacle, the film successfully attracted outstanding footfalls for normal 3D and IMAX 3D versions. But what turned out to be more interesting is that even 2D version witnessed houseful boards. All thanks to this, the film pulled off an earth-shattering feat for third Friday.
Brahmastra did a business of 10.75 crores from all languages and 10.66 crores from the Hindi version, turning out to be highest collections on third Friday at the box office for any Hindi film. It surpassed Bahubali 2: The Conclusion’s 10.05 crores (Hindi). The third position is held by Bajirao Mastani (7.50 crores).

Meanwhile, talking about the total box office collection in India, Brahmastra has made 231 crores nett (all languages) and 222.30 crores nett (Hindi) after theatrical run of 15 days. As of now, the film is heading towards a lifetime of 270 crores and has only a few more days to reap benefits as Vikram Vedha arrives on 30th September 2022.
