Where Windham Rotunda aka Bray Wyatt Is Going? 2 ‘Extreme’ Theories Are Grabbing All Eyeballs On Internet

Did he resign with WWE or he'll be AEW bound?

Windham Rotunda, popularly known as Bray Wyatt, is back in the headlines. Not just WWE fans were active on social media during Sunday’s Extreme Rules, but the former leader of the Wyatt family too was sending out some cryptic tweets. Thanks to his activities, different theories about his return are grabbing attention.

The first and most popular theory is about Windham Rotunda’s AEW debut. In the last few days, this theory is making all the noise due to its practicality, logical explanation and rumours from strong sources.

If reports are to be believed, Bray Wyatt will be AEW bound by Wednesday (29th September). The weekly show Dynamite is scheduled to take place in the hometown of late Jonathan Huber- Rochester, New York. For the unversed, Huber was the part of Rotunda-led Wyatt family in WWE as Luke Harper. Huber later jumped the ship in 2020 by becoming All Elite under the ring name Brodie Lee. There are strong reports claiming Rotunda will be making his debut in Tony Khan-led promotion on Wednesday and giving his former stablemate and friend a special tribute.

Another cryptic hint is a picture tweeted by Wyatt today and a reaction he gave to Seth Rollins’ comment on Vince McMahon. Talking about the picture, he shared a picture from a match he had in WWE. In the picture, we can see Wyatt along with Luke Harper and Eric Rowan taking on Daniel Bryan and the Usos. Fans are speculating that Wyatt is hinting at a reunion with Rowan (who was the part of Wyatt family and is now is AEW) and challenging Bryan (now known as Daniel Bryanson in AEW).

Not just that, but Wyatt is also speculated to unveil himself as the new leader of The Dark Order faction that was earlier led by Brodie Lee.

Coming to his reaction to Seth Rollins’ comment, Windham Rotunda wrote, “Wait until you hear my reaction.” The tweet was made by one pro-wrestling related portal along with the article stating Rollins wanted to strangle Vince McMahon for a disastrous booking with Bray Wyatt in Hell In A Cell Match. Many are speculating that Wyatt will be spitting fire against McMahon once he is all elite. Too much of a clue given by Wyatt about his AEW debut right? Wait, hold your nerves.

The second theory is a bit unpopular but has some interesting hints to spark curiousity. The first hint is the same picture Windham Rotunda tweeted earlier today. Yes, we are talking about the above-mentioned picture. If we leave Daniel Bryanson and Wyatt’s former partners aside, the picture also features Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso. The Usos are currently part of Roman Reigns-led The Bloodline. Many fans think that Wyatt has been resigned by WWE and he’s all set to challenge The Bloodline.

Another exciting hint is the rope malfunction that happened during Roman Reigns and Finn Bálor’s match at Extreme Rules. Many fans think that WWE won’t spoil a pay-per-view blockbuster match with an unexplained/bizarre ending. They are of opinion that it’s Wyatt’s alter ego, The Fiend, who did the rope thing with his supernatural powers. WWE fans strongly believe that Vince McMahon has resigned Wyatt and has kept it secret just like they did with Brock Lesnar. They further support their theory by saying, Vince might have offered Wyatt a lucrative contract and creative freedom considering he is a big force in their merchandise sale.

Well, WWE is really surprising us nowadays. And who knows, they might have just re-signed Windham Rotunda, who was released from the company on 31st July.

The next few days would be damn exciting! Let’s see what happens.

So readers, what do you think? Which theory could become a reality? Share with us through comments.
