Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Shooting Location Shifted To Silvassa From Goregaon

Reportedly, the cast members of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah are already made it to Silvassa.

The current situation has once again locked everyone inside their homes. All actors and show production houses are coming up with ways to continue shooting. Asit Kumarr Modi, the creator of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has decided to shift the location to shoot further.

The COVID crisis is getting worse than anyone can imagine in India and the entertainment industry is amongst the most affected industries. Amidst the lockdown, shooting of all movies and serials came to a halt. However, all production houses are finding new ways and sets to resume shooting.

Since Maharashtra is under strict lockdown along with night curfew, the makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah have reportedly relocated their shooting to Silvassa (Dadra and Nagar Haveli). As per the report in Koimoi, a member close to the cast has shared that creators are trying to keep everyone entertained in these crucial times. Hence, they have decided to shift their location until the resolution of the bio bubble or something similar is passed. The source also said that even though it is risky to shoot in such a crisis, Asit Kumarr Modi along with the cast has been shooting since the first wave hit India in 2020.

It is also reported that the crew members have already reached the relocated shooting set a few days ago. To ensure timely setup and proper shoot and preparations, the cast has already reached the place. However, it is also reported that the entire cast would not be present on the set at the same time.

The shooting of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah will take place in parts, and only the required actors will be on the set, while the others will remain in their rooms. The source also added that Asit Kumarr Modi is extremely strict when it comes to following rules in COVID. So, there is no chance that he will be lenient with the cast and crew.

Cast members such as Munmun Dutta and Dilip Joshi have already reached the set, and other cast members are expected to reach the set in a couple of days as per their requirements.

In other news, Ghanshyam Nayak aka ‘Natukaka’ is also expected to return to the sets soon. He was at home for the last one month as he is a senior actor, and the coronavirus spread did not allow him to return for shooting.

On the whole, the good news is that we will continue to get new episodes of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah which will keep us entertained.
