The incident occurred in 2014 when Salman Khan and AR Rahman shared a stage for an event and communicated with the media. Director Kabir Khan, and Kapil Sibal, a political figure and lawyer, were also present on stage. During the event, Salman referred to Rahman as an ‘average composer’ (jokingly). After that, he even asked Rahman, when he’ll be composing for his films? The ace composer did not respond right away.

After Salman Khan and other guests walked out, AR Rahman and Kapil Sibal indulged in a session with reporters. During the session, one of the media persons asked the Jai Ho hitmaker that when he will work for the Dabangg actor. In response to the interviewer, Rahman said that he would only compose for Salman when he starts doing the stuff he (Rahman) likes.

For those who don’t know, Salman and Rahman share a not-so-good bond since Ek Tha Tiger. Apparently, Kabir Khan approached the composer for the spy thriller. Rahman declined the offer for unknown reasons, which reportedly made the Radhe actor angry.

Before Ek Tha Tiger, the music maestro had composed for Salman Khan’s Yuvvraaj.
