We’re just a couple of days away from the highly anticipated release of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. If not the pandemic, the film would have been another 200 crore or 300 crore affair for Salman Khan. But now, the situation is different as almost all theatres are shut across the country. Hence, there would be no things to talk about for box office enthusiasts. Keeping that in mind, we’ll be taking a look at the box office analysis of Salman post Wanted.

The reason we chose Wanted because it’s this movie that gave us a 2.0 version of Salman which was more energetic and passionate. It built a bridge between Salman and the masses, that was broken. Post this entertainer, Salman revamped his career and yet again became a hot property in the industry. To add more, Salman even delivered a streak of 15 back-to-back 100 crore movies (from Dabangg to Dabangg 3).

Without wasting any time further, let’s get to the box office analysis of Salman Khan:

Main Aurr Mrs Khanna – This was the first release for Salman post Wanted. It tanked at the box office by collecting a mere 7.50 crores.

London Dreams – London Dreams was a big-budget movie and had Salman’s energetic performance. Unfortunately, this one too was a box office flop as it made just 27 crores in India.

Veer – This too was made on a huge budget and with high hopes. It made 39 crores in India and somehow dodged a flop verdict.

Dabangg – Dabangg started a ‘King Midas’ era of Salman Khan in Bollywood. From this movie, whatever Salman did, everything turned out to be gold at the box office. Not only Dabangg made 141 crores to give Salman his first 100 crore+ movie, but also gave us an iconic character of Chulbul Pandey.

ReadySalman Khan struck a right chord with masses with this comic caper. The family entertainer hit gold as it made 110 crores in India.

Bodyguard – It was another record smasher for Salman post-Dabangg. After a humongous total during the weekend and the first week, the movie ended its run at 145 crores.

Ek Tha Tiger – If Wanted and Dabangg gave a new identity of bonafide action hero to Salman, it was ETT that made his place permanent in the league. Salman’s action and performance was loved by one and all. It made 198 crores in India.

Dabangg 2 – Salman reprised his Chulbul Pandey avatar for the second time, and guess what, the result was a box office hit. It made 154 crores at the box office.

Jai Ho – This was not a typical Salman film featuring his heroism. It received mixed reviews but still managed to put a good sum of 112 crores.

Kick – Salman’s Devil avatar was loved by one and all! With Kick, Salman got his first 200 crore movie as it made 233 crores in India.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan – While Wanted, Dabangg and ETT had established Salman as a hardcore action hero, Bajrangi Bhaijaan gave a new dimension to Salman’s career. Capitalizing purely on emotions, the movie was loved even by Salman haters. Also, with 320 crores coming in, BB gave Salman his first 300 crore+ movie.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo – It was a Diwali release for Salman and it did strike gold. Despite mixed to negative reviews, the movie made 214 crores.

Tubelight – With Tubelight, Salman tried something different by downplaying his heroic persona. Unfortunately, it wasn’t liked by his own fans. Contrary to it, the movie still put up a good sum of 121.25 crores.

Tiger Zinda Hai – The movie was Salman’s second collab with Sultan director Ali Abbas Zafar. The movie was high on action and all the masala that’s needed for a commercial potboiler. It became Salman’s highest-grossing movie ever by minting 339.16 crores.

Race 3 – After TZH, Race 3 came as a nightmare for both Salman and his fans. Despite getting heavily trolled, the movie collected 169 crores.

Bharat – Bharat was the third collab between Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar. Salman was applauded for nailing different looks. It was a box office hit with a collection of 209.36 crores.
