Mansoor (Sushant Singh Rajput), a modest Muslim porter, falls in love with Mukku (Sara Ali Khan), the stunning and rebellious Hindu priest’s daughter. The film’s climax is incredibly well filmed and will leave you in tears. 2013’s floods that engulfed the city of Uttarakhand have been rightfully portrayed in the film and without a doubt, it’s Sushant’s one of the best works.

Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain

On the night of December 2, 1984, a chemical called methyl isocyanate leaked from Union Carbide India Ltd’s pesticide plant, transforming Bhopal into a massive gas chamber. More than 15,000 people were killed and 600,000 employees were impacted by at least 30 tonnes of gas. It was dubbed the ‘worst manufacturing tragedy in history’ at the time. This English drama captures the horror and negligence of the owners in a very impactful way that strikes the heart of every viewer. Rajpal Yadav does an exceptional job in the film and it is surely worth a watch.

Rajkummar Rao, Sushant Singh Rajput, and Amit Sadh did a splendid job in their respective roles.
