RRR Day 1 Box Office Collection (All Languages): BREAKS 121 Crores’ Juggernaut Of Baahubali 2 To Become The Highest Indian-Opener Ever

Early estimates for day 1 numbers of RRR are in, and it has shattered the previous best opening day at the box office. It seems like SS Rajamouli loves breaking his own records and creating new ones. The reason we say so? Well, have a look at the collection (all languages) of Rajamouli’s latest release and you will know it.

To our much surprise, the juggernaut of Baahubali 2 has been broken! Yes, RRR has surpassed the opening day numbers of the Baahubali sequel, which held onto the top position for around 5 years since 2017.

Baahubali 2 did a business of 121 crores on its day 1, including numbers from all languages. Here, we’re talking about nett collection only and not about gross or share.

While many thought that RRR will surpass Saaho’s 88 crores to grab the second spot on the list of biggest Indian openers ever, the film has left us jaw-dropped by making unprecedented 134 crores* (all languages) on day 1. Yes, that’s the damn number!

Breaking down this number, out of 134 crores*, a monstrous 105 crores* are coming from the Telugu version alone. Baahubali 2 had made 58 crores from its Telugu version on day 1. If we compare those two numbers, Rajamouli’s latest release has taken an insane start.

In the Hindi version, RRR has done a good business of 19 crores, which is less than half of Baahubali 2’s 41 crores. Tamil version too has done amazing with around 6.5 crores* coming in. Now, with word-of-mouth being extraordinary, more records are expected to be broken like a cakewalk.
