Liger Budget Revealed! Apart From The Humongous Cost, Know How Much Vijay Deverakonda Charged As His Fees

Liger starring Vijay Deverakonda is all set to hit theatres on 25th August. The film marks his Bollywood and pan-Indian debut, so expectations are pretty high. Right from the making to the promotions, the makers have done a lot of investments to create hype for the film. Let’s find out how much the film is actually carrying, and also know how much Vijay has charged as his fees.

The film is bilingual, simultaneously made in Telugu and Hindi and is helmed by renowned filmmaker Puri Jagannadh. Vijay is undoubtedly a big name in the Tollywood industry but in the Hindi market, he is yet to prove his mettle. Considering the same, even though the film is pan-Indian, the budget seems to be quite high.

As per trade reports, Liger is made on a whopping budget of 100 crores including the making and advertising costs. It’s really a big number and the stakes are really high. Given the craze of Vijay Deverakonda in the Telugu market, the film will earn a good collection from the Telugu states and signs are already visible if one looks at the advance booking reports. In Hindi and the other languages, it’s a totally word-of-mouth dependent scenario.

Now speaking about the fees, Vijay Deverakonda has charged a huge 20 crores for Liger. Before this film, he used to charge up to 8 crores, but considering the film was really demanding, the actor was happily given a hefty pay cheque by the makers.

It is learnt that Liger has done really good in the pre-release business and its theatrical rights and other rights have been sold at a good price. Let’s see how it performs in theatres.
