After the high voltage clash between Varisu and Thunivu, Veera Simha Reddy vs Waltair Veerayya is another big clash at the Indian box office. Yes, two Tollywood stars Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna have collided and things are getting quite interesting. Let’s take a look at their collection!
For those who don’t know, there wasn’t a direct clash between Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi. Veera Simha Reddy released on 12th January in India and recorded a superb start of 33.80 crores nett, marking Balayya’s highest-ever opening. On its day 2 i.e. 13th January, Waltair Veerayya released, thus serving a big competition and resulting in a huge drop for Balayya’s film.
After 33.80 crores, Balakrishna’s film dipped drastically on day 2 by earning 8.80 crores. The total collection at the Indian box office now stands at 42.60 crores nett.
On the hand, Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja’s mass entertainer debuted yesterday and earned a superb 29.10 crores nett. It could be clearly seen that Balayya is facing a tough competition in a clash.
The latest release could turn out to be a perfect comeback for Chiranjeevi as it has opened much better than his last release, Godfather. Released last year, Godfather had earned 20.30 crores nett at the Indian box office.
Speaking about Acharya, which released before Godfather, had raked in 37.10 crores nett in India.
