The Kashmir Files box office: The much-talked-about Vivek Agnihotri directorial has finally arrived in theatres, and has taken a flying start at ticket windows. Below are all the details you need to know.
After the success of The Tashkent Files, Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files had managed a good pre-release hype for itself. And as expected, as word-of-mouth suggests, the film has fulfilled all the expectations.
On day 1, The Kashmir Files has earned 3.55 crores at the box office. The number is higher than what Allu Arjun’s Pushpa had earned with its Hindi version (3.33 crores). Remember, the film has been released on 600 screens across the country. So, the number is really huge considering limited screening.
The film has clashed with Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam, which has earned 5 crores on its day 1 with its Hindi version. With extraordinary word-of-mouth flowing in, Vivek Agnihotri’s directorial might surpass Radhe Shyam over the weekend. Also, there are reports that the number of screens for the film has been increased from today.
The Kashmir Files stars Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Mithun Chakraborty, Chinmay Mandlekar and others in key roles.
