RRR VS The Kashmir Files Screen Count At Box Office: SS Rajamouli’s Biggie Takes Away 2000+ Screens From TKF!

RRR has finally arrived in theatres and it’s like a festival for all SS Rajamouli, Ram Charan and Jr NTR fans. We don’t need to say a word about the film’s craze down the South. Interestingly in the Hindi belt too, the film is in a mood of dominating the box office by curbing The Kashmir Files.

The screen count is one of the most interesting things to talk about when it comes to South origin films making it on a pan-Indian level. On top of that, The Kashmir Files has just added spice to it by making headlines over its jaw-dropping number of screens.

Last week, we saw an unexpected thing happening with one-week-old TKF dominating Akshay Kumar’s Bachchhan Paandey in screen count at the box office by a margin of over 1000 screens. But the fate is reversed now as SS Rajamouli’s highly-anticipated RRR has arrived.

Speaking of the Hindi belt, RRR (Hindi) has got itself a huge chunk with 3000 screens coming its way. As The Kashmir Files has now started to drop, it is now being played on around 1900 screens. It means, out of 4000 screens which were given last week, TKF has lost 2100 screens to SS Rajamouli’s film.

Akshay Kumar starrer Bachchhan Paandey’s underperformance at the box office has let the film retain only 500 screens in the second week.

Coming back to RRR, the film is carrying extremely positive word-of-mouth and hence, the response is expected to see a huge boost during the weekend. One can say that the film will slow The Kashmir Files’ mania at the box office, and once an easy looking target of 300 crores will now get tough. Let’s see how the box office tale unfolds!

Stick to this for more box office updates and interesting details of RRR.
