After a historic start, it’s normal that a big film witnesses a fall on the next day as most die-hard fans of stars prefer watching the film on the opening day itself. And RRR is no exception as it has earned in the range of 90-95 crores on day 2 (all languages).

It’s basically the word-of-mouth factor that helps the film from the next day onwards with star power taking a backseat. Even Baahubali 2 had witnessed a fall on day 2.

The numbers are outstanding and it has already helped the film on crossing the 200 crore mark (nett) in India with the actual Indian total standing at 224-229 crores. That’s crazy!

The reason behind this fall is the Telugu version coming down, which is the case with every big film even with extraordinary word-of-mouth. Interestingly, the Hindi version has shown a big jump on day 2 with numbers ranging between 25-28 crores after day 1’s 20.07 crores. With such pace and appreciation, RRR is looking forward to hit the 300 crore milestone on day 3 in India.

Dhamaal in overseas!

RRR has opened to a record-breaking response in overseas too. The film has earned 67 crores from international circuits. Out of 67 crores, 42 crores have come from the USA alone. It’s the biggest start for any Indian film ever, surpassing Baahubali 2’s opening day.
