Sachin Pilgaonkar’s Navra Maza Navsacha 2 has finally ended its theatrical run at the Indian box office. Here’s its final collection update!
Navra Maza Navsacha 2, starring Sachin Pilgaonlar, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Hemal Ingle, and Swapnil Joshi in the lead roles, has closed its theatrical run and emerged as a big commercial success. As expected, the nostalgia factor has done its job, attracting major footfalls in Maharashtra. Made at a controlled cost, it made hefty returns and secured a super-hit verdict at the Indian box office.
The Navra Maza Navsacha sequel marked the directorial return of veteran Marathi actor Sachin Pilgaonkar. It also marked the reunion of several popular actors, including Nirmiti Sawant, Siddharth Jadhav, Vaibhav Mangle, Santosh Pawar, and others. It also marked the reunion of legendary actors Ashok Saraf and Sachin. The film was released in theatres on September 20, and upon its arrival, it received mixed reviews. Irrespective of reviews, the sequel did wonders because of nostalgia and decent word-of-mouth.
Navra Maza Navsacha 2 started well by earning 1.86 crores net. In the opening week, it raked in an excellent total of 11.74 crores net. Further, despite the release of the highly-anticipated Dharmaveer 2, the film maintained its momentum and continued attracting consistent footfalls.
After spending almost two months in theatres, Navra Maza Navsacha 2 has ended its run and has earned a solid 20.70 crores net at the Indian box office. Including taxes, it equals 24.42 crores gross.
Reportedly, the film is made on a budget of 8 crores. So if compared, it has earned an ROI (return on investment) of 12.70 crores after subtracting the budget from the domestic net collection. Calculated further, Navra Maza Navsacha 2 has made a profit of 158.75% and it’s a super-hit at the Indian box office.
