KGF Chapter 2 is justifying all the hype, especially for its Hindi version, by putting record-breaking numbers during its first extended weekend. As audience feedback is highly positive, the film has once again pulled off wonders on its day 5 i.e. first Monday.
Starring Yash, KGF has been a hot topic of discussion on social media and its popularity reached new heights due to its popularity on OTT. All this has erupted like burning lava when Chapter 2 hit theatres. Further, positive word-of-mouth added the icing to the cake. It is all reflected in box office numbers now.
As per early estimates flowing in, KGF Chapter 2 (Hindi) has enjoyed a rocking Monday by staying in the range of 25-27 crores. If we compare it with the opening day or Sunday’s 50 crore+ collections, it looks like a huge drop but considering its a working day, the numbers are truly unbelievable. Just remember, it’s higher than RRR‘s (Hindi) opening of 20.07 crores.
The grand of KGF Chapter 2 (Hindi) now stands in the range of 218.99 crores-220.99 crores. The film has hit the double century in just 5 days and thus has become the fastest entrant of the 200 crore club by beating Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which did it in 6 days. Bollywood releases- Sanju, Tiger Zinda Hai, War and Sultan did the same in 7 days.
The next target is now 300 crore club and it will be interesting to see how many days it takes to reach there.
