Ardaas Sarbat De Bhale Di is another big release of the year from the Punjabi film industry after Jatt & Juliet 3. Starring Gippy Grewal, Gurpreet Ghuggi, and Jasmin Bhasin in key roles, the film started its journey on a decent note and has already recovered its budget through the theatrical run at the Indian box office. It has entered the safe zone and will earn big returns in the long run.
Ardaas is one of the successful franchises in Punjabi cinema. The first installment was released in 2016 and back then, it was a critical and commercial success. The second installment was released in 2019 and even this one emerged as a big success. Now, Gippy Grewal and the team have returned for the third time and it has been welcomed with mostly positive reviews by critics. Ardaas Sarbat De Bhale Di released this Friday, and it began its run on a decent note by earning 0.98 crore. On day 2, it witnessed a jump to earn 1.55 crores. On Sunday, it grew again and ended up earning 2.18 crores, taking the opening weekend collection to 4.71 crores.
On the first Monday, the film was expected to witness a dip and that’s what happened. Compared to Friday’s 0.98 crore, it dipped by 29.59% and made 0.69 crore. This takes the 4-day collection to 5.40 crores net at the Indian box office.
While the exact number is not known, Ardaas Sarbat De Bhale Di is reportedly carrying a cost of 5 crores. So, the budget has been already recovered and the film is in a safe zone now. In the long run, it will make good returns. Currently, with a collection of 5.40 crores, Ardaas 3 is enjoying an ROI (returns on investment) of 0.40 crore, which equals 8% returns.
