The crew of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has happily returned to Gokuldham Society i.e. original sets in Mumbai. Recently, Malav Rajda shared a picture featuring himself and the crew members. Along with the picture, Rajda informed about returning to sets.
Covid trouble and shifting of the location…
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah did face the wrath of the pandemic but the team somehow managed to keep going through all the hurdles. As we all know, the shooting location of the show is in Goregaon (Mumbai). However, due to the extension of the lockdown in Maharashtra during the second wave of Covid, the producer of the show, Asit Kumarr Modi, decided to shift the location of the shoot outside Mumbai.
After shifting the base to Silvassa, the cast and crew recently shot in a resort in Vapi (Gujarat) for some time. However, the team is finally back to its original shooting location. In a true sense, they have returned to Gokuldham Society.
Back to the kingdom…
While sharing the photo on Instagram, Malav Rajda wrote, “Finally back in Gokuldham. It feels to be back on home ground.” It was about a week ago that the cast and crew wrapped their shoot in Vapi and returned to Mumbai.

Just like Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, most of the shows shifted their shooting locations outside Mumbai to keep their show on track. However, back in June, the government permitted all the shows to continue their shoot in the city. Hence, all the cast and crew members of the shows are returning to their original shooting locations.
Meanwhile, recently the team shot at Vapi’s resort and had a gala time there. The pictures of the same were shared by Palak Sidhwani. It featured Shailesh Lodha, Dilip Joshi and other actors. Even Ghanshyam Nayak aka Natu Kaka shot for an episode after being out of the show for several months.
