To be honest, WWE has lost its spark over the last few years. The company still has some of the best and technically sound pro-wrestlers but there’s a lack of freshness and zeal needed to take the brand further. Considering the same, now, superstar Daniel Bryan has taken an important task in his hand to push the promotion.
For the unversed, not just a pro-wrestler but the leader of Yes movement also enjoys a position in a creative space for WWE. Making the good use of his influence, Bryan is now trying his best to push talent from NXT to the blue brand, Smackdown.
As per Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Daniel Bryan wants WWE to promote NXT stars to Smackdown’s roster. Bryan intends to add a pinch of freshness to the roster. Well, that’s really a good intention from the pro-wrestler. Let’s wait and see if it really gets executed in near future.
Meanwhile, Daniel Bryan recently declared himself the first entrant for the rumble match in Royal Rumble 2021. Taking to Twitter, WWE’s official handle tweeted, “@WWEDanielBryan has declared himself the FIRST entrant in the 2021 #RoyalRumble Match! But will @SamiZayn, sorry, karma get to him first? #SmackDown.”
Earlier before Bryan’s rumble proclamation, Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer stated that the star might indulge in a new feud with Roman Reigns. He was expected to challenge the big dog for a championship match at Royal Rumble 2021. Now, it seems like the match between the two isn’t happening as Bryan is fighting in the main event rumble match. The last time the duo faced each other was at 2015’s Fastlane.
Royal Rumble 2021 is slated to take place on 31st January.
